1.How did you get into blogging and which were your expectations back then?
I started quite late (compared to other bloggers). I remember thinking about it maybe about a year before I actually started doing it. At that moment I was studying photography and at the same time working for a fashion start-up, so those 2 things + my love (or we can call it addiction) for shopping, naturally led to developing my own fashion blog.
2.What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?
Probably developing and really sticking to my own style.
3.You love black! 5 reasons why black clothing is better.
I do love black!
- elegant
- sexy
- always in style
- mysterious
- easy to style
4.What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Kimono style maxi dresses with a side slit (makes you feel like a Goddess when you wear one), strappy heels (can never get enough) & watches.
5.If you could design the perfect day in your life, what would it look like?
Oh wow! I have so many perfect days! Wish it would happen! If I would have to choose something right now, I’d go for winning a lottery jackpot – 117 million dollars, I’ll be heading to the airport & meeting 2 of my best friends in a random country, drink champagne and then go for lots of adventures & just have tons of fun! We all live in different countries and I really miss them.
6.Name your top 3 favorite brands.
I think I could name my 3 favorite pieces, but not brands. For me, the name of the brand is not that important! What I love is the piece itself!.
If I spot a great design, I don’t really care if it’s H&M or Gucci. If it looks great, has a great quality & makes me feel fabulous when I wear it – it has done the job!
7.What would you say is the greatest satisfaction of being a fashion blogger?
Taking photos! I love to create concepts, look for photographers, locations, putting together outfits etc. It’s a lot of fun!
8.If you could only use one item of make-up for the rest of your life, what would it be?
An eyeliner, but then again it would look hideous without a mascara, so I guess, an eyeliner & mascara – 2 in 1 .
9.Which is your favorite fashion item for winter?
I hate hats, gloves and being wrapped in many layers. I would rather keep it light.
I’d say my favorite fashion item for winter would be a stylish pair of over the knee boots! They look super hot and you can wear them with mini dresses without freezing your legs off!
10.Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I am a huge believer of the Law of Attraction and positive thinking, therefore my dreams are quite big. In 5 years, I’d love to live on my own island in Maldives, being married & raising a family.
