Best-dressed list:
Rihanna
Was dressed like the female pope the Vatican’s never has! She was the most impressive appearance of the event! The beautiful singer wore a beaded Margiela corset mini dress under a full skirt with a beaded bishop’s hat to match. The outfit was completed by a pearl anklet and a bejeweled crucifix necklace.
Katy Perry
Was in the spotlight! She arrived in a short gold Versace dress with gold thigh-high boots, but the focus of her outfit were the life-size feathered angel-inspired wings that completed the look. She was basically an angel!
Lily Collins
Revealed a gothic outfit inspired by the traditional look of a nun, with eye-makeup closely resembling Hisoka’s (one of the Hunter X Hunter characters). To top her look off, she wore a crown that was made of a metallic black metal. Her look is from Givenchy.
Blake Lively
Created by Versace, the dress that Blake wore was an incredibly ornate ruby and gold design that featured some pretty intricate and extensive beading. To complete the look, Blake wore a spiked headpiece that made her look like an actual angel. She was stunning!
Gigi Hadid
Wore a dress that looked just as much like a butterfly wing as it did a work of stained-glass art. Her dress was designed by Versace and featured a thigh-high leg slit and long dark blue train. She looked amazing in her glowing, beaded, and very angelic-looking dress.
Amanda Seyfried
Arrived at the 2018 Met Gala in a flowing gown fit for a glowing goddess. Amanda stuck closely to the theme, because the shade of her gown is the specific shade of yellow used in the flag of Vatican City.
