How to mix colors
Going on a hiking tour and you’re so excited that you’re going to take some amazing shots of the wildlife? We hope you are dressed in a nice bright red t-shirt, some yellow pants and a green jacket!
Just kidding! You are never going to take some cool shots if you choose to wear something like this! It’s just the perfect alarm clock for animals, they will run and you will stand there sad and unfulfilled.
Depending on the environments, you should always use a variety of brands, colors and styles. You’ll need quiet clothing and nearly always waterproof. Keep in mind that clothing varies through the seasons. For winter you will need lots of layers, as for summer you can hardly have any layer-just carry a warm fleece in your bag and a waterproof jacket.
What’s most important is the mix of colors you choose to wear in your adventure. Here is what colors to wear for the season.
Fall & Winter
Cold. Dull. Grey.
Your body’s first mission is to protect its vital organs. In fall try wearing dark colored clothes! If you are going to take some shots in a forest full of orange/yellow/brown leaves wear something in the shade of the delicious caramel sauce.
Wear white clothes for winter! The ground may be covered in snow and you want to blend in! Snow rabbits, red squirrels, reindeers and the simplicity of the white background will give birth to some amazing pictures. Just make sure to wear proper-colored clothes to capture the sense of movement and action in snow.
Spring & Summer
During these two seasons everything is green, the nature revives, the trees are covered in thick leaves. Of course you are going to take some shots in a stunning forest, right? Military camouflage, green, grey, brown shades are great for fitting in with the woods.
If you don’t have a camouflage costume, just wear something green and avoid bright colored clothes! Don’t take this advice into consideration and you’ll be just like a lighthouse – the animals will run away from you and you’ll be lucky enough to photograph at least a sloth.
Dessert-appropriate colors
If you are going to take some shots into a dessert make sure you wear khaki or beige/maroon clothes.
To take this game to the extreme apply some face paint. You will totally blend in with the environment.
